WATCH: Paralympic champion Navdeep Singh’s hilarious interaction with Rajpal Yadav

Indian para javelin thrower, Navdeep Singh, who clinched gold medal in the 2024 Paris Paralympics, shared a light-hearted moment with Indian actor Rajpal Yadav recently. The Paralympic champion was seen in the latest episode of the Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. The cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 including the like of Karthik Aaryan, Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan and Rajpal Yadav made their appearance as a guest in the latest episode. During the show, Navdeep Singh also made his appearance, and he was seen interacting with the host Kapil Sharma and the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Firstly, Navdeep Singh took a playful dig at Kapil Sharma by asking him, “Toh sir kaisa lag raha hai merse milke (Sir, how are you feeling after meeting me?)”. After that, Kapil also talked about the viral video where Navdeep was seen celebrating in excitement after a record-breaking throw in the Paralympics to win a gold medal. Reacting to this, Kapil said, “Bhala fekne ke baad inhone jo kavita padhi…(The way he recited a poem after throwing the javelin”.

Navdeep Singh interacted with everyone on the show, and flaunted his gold medal. Rajpal Yadav also admired the Paralympic champion, and promised to make a film on him. He said, “Hum aapke upar film banayenge (We will make a film on you).” After that, Navdeep camwe up with a hilarious reply to the Indian actor as he said, “Thoda sa hi fark hai sir, zyada difference hota sath khel rahe hote (We have only a slight difference in our heights; if it were the same, we’d be playing together for India),” leaving everyone in splits. 

Notably, Navdeep Singh ended up winning a gold medal for India in the men’s javelin throw F41 category, during the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. The 23-year-old attempted a record-breaking throw of 47.32m, surpassing the 47.13m milestone set by China’s Sun Pengxiang previously.
