WATCH: IShowSpeed loses $100,000 after almost defeating Olympic champion Noah Lyles in 100m race

Popular YouTuber IShowSpeed almost defeated Olympic gold medalist and American sprinter Noah Lyles in a 50 yard race. Speed went live on his YouTube channel along where another popular YouTuber Mr. Beast called him for a challenge with Noah Lyles and also offered a cash prize of $100,000. The American posted the video on his YouTube channel with the title ‘SPEED vs NOAH LYLES (FASTEST MAN ALIVE).’ 

Noah Lyles recently won a gold medal in a 100 meter category in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Along with Mr Beast, he challenged IShowSpeed for a 100m race with him and for a cash prize of $100,000. Speed hesitated initially but later went on to accept the invitation. The YouTuber took a three-hour trip from his residence to face Lyles for a race. Both Speed and Lyles were getting ready for a race before give a signal to start by firing a gun.

IShowSpeed loses closely against Olympic champion Noah Lyles

As soon as Mr Beast fired a gun, both IShowSpeed and Noah Lyles started their 100m track race. Despite competing against an Olympic champion, Speed lost to Lyles just by a margin and shocked everyone present there. However, Lyles took a lead in near the finishing line and ended up winning the race. However, Speed didn’t accept his defeat and said it a tie, but had to agree later after realising that the whole race was shot as a video.

IShowSpeed and Noah Lyles agreed to race again in the future. Lyles asked the 19-year-old to get proper training till July 2025, when both are likely to rematch. However, it is not confirmed yet whether the rematch will take place or not.
