Mumbai batter Shreyas Iyer came up with his second consecutive hundred in Ranji Trophy 2024-25. The right-hander reached triple figures in the ongoing fixture against Odisha at Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy as Mumbai crossed the 300-run mark on day one. Along with that, Siddhesh Lad also completed his hundred, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 91 runs on day one against Odisha in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024-25 fixture.
Coming to bat first after losing the toss, Mumbai lost their first at the score of 19 runs in five overs, as Ayush Mhatre was dismissed by Suryakant Pradhan after scoring 18 runs off 17 balls. After that, Angkrish Raghuvanshi was joined by Siddhesh Lad on the crease as the duo put up a partnership of 135 runs for the second wicket. Raghuvanshi missed his hundred by 91 runs as he got out after scoring 92 runs off 124 balls with 13 fours and three sixes.

Mumbai went on to lose back to back after Angkrish Raghuvanshi and skipper Ajinkya Rahane lost their wickets consecutively to Biplab Samantray. Rahane went back to the pavilion after registering a golden duck as Mumbai were reduced to 154/3. After that, Siddhesh Lad was joined by Shreyas Iyer at the crease. Iyer was the first batter to complete his century and went on to reach the triple figures in his second consecutive Ranji innings.
After a few moments, Siddhesh Lad also completed his century for Mumbai on day of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 fixture against Odisha. At the time of writing, Mumbai scored 385/3 by the end of day one , with Shreyas Iyer remaining unbeaten on 152 runs off 164 balls with 18 fours and four sixes. On the other hand, Siddhesh Lad has also scored 116*(234) runs hitting 14 boundaries so far.
