MLBB M6 World Championship: Dates, Teams, Format, Where to Watch, and More

The M6 World Championship for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is set to start on November 21, 2024, featuring 23 teams competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000. The event will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Center for the initial stages, while the semifinals and grand final will be held at the Axiata Arena. The M6 World Championship is divided into three main stages:

Wildcard Stage (November 21 – 24, 2024)

Group Stage: Eight teams will be randomly drawn into two groups. They will compete in a single round-robin format, with all matches played in best-of-three (Bo3) format.

Decider Stage: The top team from each group will compete in a best-of-five (Bo5) match to qualify for the Swiss Stage.

Swiss Stage (November 28 – December 5, 2024)

16 qualified teams will participate using the Swiss system format, where teams are matched against others with similar records.

Knockout Stage (December 7 – 15, 2024)

This stage features a double elimination bracket, with all matches played as Bo5, except for the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, which will be Bo3. The Grand Final will be played as a best-of-seven (Bo7) match.
