PAK vs ENG 2nd Test Highlights: Noman Ali’s 11-wicket-haul guides Pakistan to 152-run win over England

Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali picked a total of eleven wickets and dismantled the English batting lineup to guide his side to a 152-run win over the counterparts. After recording a history-making defeat in the first Test, Pakistan hosted England for the second of the three-match Test series at the same venue, Multan Cricket Stadium. The game started with Pakistan skipper Shan Masood winning the toss and inviting the guests to field first.

The hosts got off to a decent start and while opener Abdullah Shafique went back after just seven runs, Saim Ayub came up with a decent knock of 77 runs off 160 deliveries. Shan Masood failed to deliver much in the first innings, but Kamran Ghulam’s 108 for 224 deliveries gave the side some stability. Apart from him, no batter could do much, and the South Asian team were bundled out for 366 runs. Jack Leach came up with a four-wicket haul while Brydon Carse scalped three wickets.

In return, Three Lions failed with the bat and apart from Ben Duckett, no other batter had much to contribute. Sajid Khan and Noman Ali did all the magic with the ball and dismantled the English batting lineup at just 291. In the second innings, Pakistan added 221 runs to the scoreboard. Shoaib Bashir was the leading wicket-taker with four wickets.

Pakistan bowlers, Sajid Khan and Noman Ali ripped into English lineup, picking two and eight wickets, respectively. The Ben Stokes-led side could only post 144 runs on the scoreboard as Pakistan registered a 152-run win, levelling the series 1-1.
