The Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2024 matches are reportedly doubtful to happen on Saturday, October 5, and beyond, because of international stars refusing to play in it. The entire organisational structure of the LLC 2024 has come into question after foreign players have decided to not participate in matches due to unpaid salaries for the earlier stage of the tournament, which happened in Jodhpur and Surat in the last couple of weeks.
Notably, on Saturday, October 5, there is a double-header scheduled to happen in the LLC 2024 with the match 15 between Manipal Tigers and Gujarat Giants in the afternoon at the Molana Azad Stadium in Jammu. The match 16 is set to be played between Toyam Hyderabad and Southern Super Stars in the evening hours at the aforementioned venue, but both these clashes are doubtful to happen, as informed by sources close to SportsTiger.
Southern Superstars lead LLC 2024 points table with five wins in five matches
At the current stage of the LLC 2024, Southern Superstars are leading the points table with five wins in five matches with the likes of Martin Guptill, Pawan Negi, and Abdul Razzak on top of their game. Konark Suryas Odisha are in second place with two wins in their first five matches including two washouts as well, while the other two teams to have won a match in the tournament are India Capitals and Gujarat Giants.
Defending champions, Manipal Tigers are yet to register a win after their first five matches, but with the help of two washouts, they are in fifth and second last place in the LLC 2024 points table. The sixth and bottom spot on the tournament standings belongs to Toyam Hyderabad, who have lost three of their first four matches, with the other one being a washout.
