The highly anticipated CODM World Championship 2024 is set to kick off on October 4 in Atlanta, United States, featuring 16 teams from various regions like China, India, Europe, Brazil, Japan, the Philippines, and North America. These teams will compete in two stages: the Swiss Stage and the Playoffs. The tournament features a whopping prize pool of $1 million. CODM World Championship 2024: Format
In the Swiss Stage, 16 teams will compete using a Swiss System format. In the first round, teams are randomly paired based on pre-determined groups. From rounds two to five, teams will be paired based on their win-loss records. Every match is a Best of 3 (Bo3). Teams that win three matches will move to the Playoffs, while teams that lose three matches will be eliminated.
In the Playoffs, the competition follows a Single Elimination format. All matches will be played as Best of 5 (Bo5), except for the Grand Final, which will be a Best of 7 (Bo7).

The 16 qualified teams represent various regions. China, North America, and Brazil each have three teams; whereas India, the Philippines, and Europe have two teams each; and Japan has one team competing in the CODM World Championship 2024.
