Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and cricketing icon Virat Kohli are regarded as one of the best and most followed celebrity couples in India and even around the world. Sharma and Kohli, who tied the knot in 2017, have time and again set couple goals for their fans with their love for each other and sometimes their funny banters which get viral on social media. Recently, the couple once again engaged in a hilarious war of words, owing to Anushka’s bizarre set of rules during a gully cricket face off.
Sharma and Kohli recently clashed against each other in a gully cricket competition. What added fun to their contest was the bizarre set of rules set by Sharma , who is set to play the role of legendary bowler Jhulan Goswami in her biopic ‘Chakda Express’. The rules leave the Indian batting icon bamboozled, and he leaves the field angry.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli came against each other in a gully cricket match, where the former had come up with a list of typical rules of gully cricket. In a video posted on Anushka Sharma’s Instagram, she could be heard telling the rules to her cricketer husband. The listed rules included ‘ball agar body pe lagi toh out (If the ball touches your body, it would be considered out)’, ‘Jiska bat, uski first batting (The one who brought bat will get to bat first)’ and more.
Not only this, but Anushka could also be heard telling Virat, “First ball trial” (The first ball would be considered a trial ball), like how it is considered in a typical gully cricket game. Kohli, who was seemingly appalled by the rules said, “Hein, abbe yeh kya hai” (What is this?), and he was seen leaving the field out of frustration. The video garnered a huge number of likes and comments since being uploaded and fans couldn’t stop but gushed over the compatibility of the couple. Notably, the couple played against each other for an ad shoot of an athleisure brand.
