After two days of play getting washed out due to rain and wet outfield, the India versus Bangladesh second Test resumed on Monday, September 30 at the Green Park in Kanpur. Jasprit Bumrah got the first breakthrough as he bowled out Mushfiqur Rahim early in the first session, Team India skipper, Rohit Sharma pulled off a brilliant catch to dismiss Litton Das.
The moment came in the 50th over of the Bangladesh inning. On the fourth delivery of the 50th over, which was bowled by Mohammed Siraj, Litton Das opted to smash it over the infield and during the process, failed to get enough elevation. As the ball went comparatively flat, Sharma, who was stationed at mid-off, jumped in air to pluck a one-handed stunner.

While Rohit Sharma was left speechless with a stunning fielding effort, the Bangladesh batter, Litton Das was left in shock on his wicket. Apart from Das, Shubman Gill, also could not believe the brilliant piece of fielding as he could be seen holding his hand on the head in disbelief.
Speaking of the Test match which is underway at the Green Park in Kanpur, Bangladesh added 98 runs to their first day score of 107/3 till lunch on Day 4. Monimul Haque scored an unbeaten 102 off 176 deliveries while Mehidy Hasan Miraz added six runs off 26 balls. Bangladesh scoreboard reads 205/6 at lunch on Day 4 of the second Test.
