The cricketer, who shut his trolls after delivering remarkable performance in the T20 World Cup 2024, especially the final, is gearing up for his comeback as a competitive cricketer. Pandya last played for India during the match against Sri Lanka on July 30, 2024. He is expected to join the side in the forthcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in October 2024 and make his highly-awaited comeback.
Recently, Pandya shared a video of him pushing himself at the gym. In the video, he was seen lifting weights and performing stretching exercises to prove that he is not leaving any stone unturned to get back to fitness. On the other hand, a video of him started to surface on social media where the all-rounder could be seen doing his bowling practice. The pace and accuracy with which Pandya was executing the delivery showcased the he is all set to solidify his position in the squad.
The Men in Blue will be up against Bangladesh in T20I format after a two-match Test series. The T20I clashes are scheduled to be played on October 6, 9 and 12 in Gwalior, Delhi and Hyderabad. The squad is expected to mark Pandya’s return to international scenario and give his opportunity to reassert his position in the squad.
