Skyesports has unveiled its Counter-Strike 2 Esports Roadmap for 2025, which includes four tournaments running from February 17 to November 16, 2025. The events will take place in India and will feature a total prize pool of $1.75 million (INR 14.6 Crore).
Throughout 2025, Skyesports will host three Tier 1 events and one Tier 2 event. The Tier 1 events will feature Open Qualifiers across multiple regions, including India, Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Skyesports 2025 Counter-Strike 2 Roadmap
- Skyesports Souvenir 2025: February 17-23, 2025 ($250,000 – Tier 2)
- Skyesports Masters 2025: May 26 – June 1, 2025 ($500,000 – Tier 1)
- Skyesports Championship 2025: September 15-21, 2025 ($500,000 – Tier 1)
- Skyesports World Tour 2025: November 10-16, 2025 ($500,000 – Tier 1)
Skyesports Souvenir 2025 – Tier 2 Tournament
The Skyesports Souvenir 2025 is the only Tier 2 event on the calendar. This event will not have an Open Qualifier and will feature 12 teams. Four teams will be directly invited to the Main Event, while the remaining eight teams will compete in an online Closed Qualifier held on the Europe server.
The Closed Qualifier will consist of two groups, each with four teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Main Event, which will follow a double-elimination format. The total prize pool for the Skyesports Souvenir 2025 is $250,000.
Skyesports Souvenir 2025 Prize Distribution:
- 1st place: $100,000
- 2nd place: $50,000
- 3rd place: $35,000
- 4th place: $25,000
- 5th-6th place: $12,500 each
- 7th-8th place: $7,500 each
Tier 1 Tournaments
The three Tier 1 tournaments in 2025 are the Skyesports Masters, Skyesports Championship, and Skyesports World Tour. These events will include Open Qualifiers in various regions.
Open Qualifiers Format:
- The Open Qualifiers will be played online.
- Each Qualifier will be open to 256 teams in a single-elimination bracket.
- Matches will be best-of-one until the Round of 16, which will be best-of-three.
- The winner of each region’s Open Qualifier will move to the Closed Qualifier.
Closed Qualifier Format:
Sixteen teams, including the top 12 VRS-ranked teams and four Open Qualifier winners, will compete in the Closed Qualifier. The 16 teams will be divided into two groups of eight, with each group competing in a double-elimination format. The top four teams from each group will qualify for the Main Event.

Main Event Format:
The Main Event will feature a League Stage and Playoffs. The League Stage will be a single-round robin, best-of-three format, with the top four teams advancing to the Playoffs. The semifinals will be best-of-three, and the grand finals will be best-of-five.
Tier 1 Tournaments Prize Distribution:
- 1st place: $200,000
- 2nd place: $100,000
- 3rd-4th place: $60,000 each
- 5th-8th place: $20,000 each
