David Beckham’s son Romeo Beckham has decided to leave the Premier League club Brentford FC in a surprising turn of events, aiming to pursue a career in fashion. The English midfielder had signed a contract with Brentford FC in June 2024, to be a part of their B team, but now, he will changing the trajectory of his professional career.
Notably, the 21-year-old was featured in a Burberry campaign at the age of just 10 years, and was named Britain’s 26th best dressed man in 2011. Earlier, Romeo Beckham was a part of Inter Miami, his father’s co-owned Major League Soccer (MLS) team. Now, he will be following the footsteps of his mother Victoria, who is also a fashion designer. Romeo is now signed with a top fashion agent in Paris Safe Management.
According to the reports by The Sun, Romeo loved his time with Brentford FC, but now he looks to focus his attention on fashion where his passion lies.
Romeo Beckham got £1.2 million deal from Puma in 2021
Romeo Beckham has been described as the “fashion one” in the family by his father David. In 2021, he was offered £1.2 million to become the face of Puma. He was also the cover model of L’Uomo Vogue in 2021, and has also played as a model for Yves Saint Laurent.
However, Romeo Beckham will still be a part of Brentford Penguins, which is dedicated to players aged five and above with down syndrome.
