Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan shut down his critics as he smashed a blistering century on his red-ball return in the Buchi Babu Trophy 2024. Kishan was dropped from BCCI’s centr al contracts and the national set-up for ignoring domestic cricket earlier in 2024.
Since then, the Mumbai Indians star had a disappointing IPL 2024, scoring 320 runs in 14 games with a solitary half-century and hasn’t featured in the Indian team. But kicking off the 2024-25 domestic season, Ishan Kishan was named the captain of Jharkhand and had an incredible performance against Madhya Pradesh on Day 1 where he picked up three catches.
