Former India international and Mumbai cricketer Sairaj Bahutule is set to be Team India’s bowling coach for the upcoming white-ball series in Sri Lanka. Bahutule will be a temporary member of the new Indian men’s head coach Gautam Gambhir‘s support staff. Since Gambhir’s appointment, several reports about his possible assistant coaches have surfaced.
The former Indian top-order batter is set to get Abhishek Nayar, ex-India international, and Dutch cricketing great Ryan ten Doeschate as his assistant coaches. South African fast bowling star Morne Morkel is set to take up the bowling coach role while fielding coach from Rahul Dravid’s staff, T Dilip, is set to continue his job with the team.

But as Morkel isn’t set to travel with the team to Sri Lanka, as per Cricbuzz, Sairaj Bahutule is set to be Team India’s bowling coach for the six-match white-ball series. This tour will kick off with the T20I leg on July 27 after which the ODIs will be played from August 2.
