Indian young spinner Ravi Bishnoi took a stellar flying catch to dismiss Brian Bennett in the third T20I. On Wednesday, July 10, India clashed against Zimbabwe in the third T20I game of the five-match series at Harare Sports Club in Harare. The game started with Indian skipper Shubman Gill winning the toss and letting his batters put score on the board first. During Zimbabwe’s innings, Bishnoi took a brilliant catch leaving fans and everyone in awe.
On the first ball of the fourth over, Aves h Khan bowled a short ball, which Brian Bennett cut powerfully sending towards the backward point. The bowler stationed at the position leapt and grabbed the ball with both hands to complete a sharp catch before falling on the ground. Bennett walked back to the pavilion after scoring four runs off five deliveries.
Batting first, the Indians scored 182 runs with the loss of four wickets. India and Zimbabwe are currently levelled at 1-1 and both sides aim to gain a lead in the series. Earlier during the toss, home skipper Sikandar Raza said, “The surface isn’t as moist as the first, not very flat. Will see the seamers coming into the contest, and expect some slow turn. Hopefully, the boys have learnt a few lessons from the second game. We need to back our bowlers and keep them to as low a total as possible.”
