On Saturday, June 29, India is taking on South Africa in the T20 World Cup 2024 Final at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Both sides are coming into the finale without losing a match in the tournament. While India will be eyeing to end their 11-year-long wait for an ICC trophy, South Africa, on the other hand are making their maiden T20 World Cup final appearance.
As the two sides took the field, it was Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, who came out on top in the toss and elected to bat first. With the Men in Blue going with the same XI, it was Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who took the guards in the middle at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
As soon as the two took the field, Virat Kohli, who has been struggling with form in the ongoing tournament, smashed back-to-back fours off Marco Jansen. He later finished the over of Marco Jansen with another four and scoring 14 runs off five deliveries.
